- WHAT DOES RECYCLE MEDIA DO?
- Recycle Media is an environmental organization that works with communities, businesses and educational institutions to help promote public recycling efforts. We provide free, state-of-the-art public recycling stations, organize a public recycling pickup route, educate residents on the importance of recycling, and develop a new revenue stream for your community, business, or school system.
- HOW MUCH DOES A MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT PAY RECYCLE MEDIA FOR THE PUBLIC SPACE RECYCLING PROGRAM?
- ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!
- Recycle Media will fully manage the Program, and in fact, a small portion of the sponsorship revenue will be paid to the Community.
- HOW MUCH REVENUE WILL THE MUNICIPALITY RECEIVE?
- Please contact us for a revenue projection model, but it’s not a lot. Generally the benefits to the city accrue through the Recycling Initiative, and the capital, maintenance and collection services provided.
- HOW DOES A MUNICIPALITY KEEP TRACK OF HOW THE PROGRAM IS WORKING?
- Every month, Recycle Media sends out our "PSR Impact Report" which reviews how much recycling was done at the installed locations and what the implications are on the environment. ALL data is collected electronically to ensure accuracy and accountability. Please read about MDACS, WEBPORTLIVE and ADDS, services offered to allow municipalities to:

- HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PUT A PUBLIC SPACE RECYCLING PROGRAM?
- A typical Public Space Recycling Program will roll out in 10-12 weeks.
- WHAT IS THE REUSERS CLUB?
- The ReUsers Club is the educational arm of Recycle Media. It is a very comprehensive set of tools that we give to our municipal partners. It is designed for elementary school education. With everything from “Pogs” to coloring books, The ReUsers Club is an excellent and proven way to get elementary school children focused on how and when to recycle.
- These materials and support are available to the community for the entire period that Recycle Media is providing the bin service… And Beyond! Our programs are in use by many municipalities and are available for municipal clients anytime.

- HOW IS REVENUE GENERATED FOR THE COMMUNITY?
- Recycle Media donates to you a percentage of proceeds from local business promotion on the sides of the recycling stations to help further recycling efforts or other environmental initiatives.
- CAN WE CHOOSE WHERE THE RECYCLING BINS ARE PLACED?
- Absolutely! We work with the municipality to decide which locations are best served by the public space recycling bins.
- WHO WILL PICK UP THE PUBLIC SPACE RECYCLING?
- Recycle Media offers 2 alternatives. We can do the recycling AND trash pick-up from our units or the city may elect to use their existing providers. The municipality’s share of the sponsorship revenue will vary depending on the option chosen.
- WHAT CONTROL IS THERE OVER THE SPONSORSHIP PANELS?
- The municipality has TOTAL control! We keep all of the local business panels tasteful, and the municipality has the right of refusal before any of the panels are installed.
- DOES RECYCLE MEDIA HOLD FULL INSURANCE COVERAGE ON THE RECYCLING BINS?
- Yes. We keep both liability and umbrella insurance on all the bins.
- ARE THERE OTHER FIRMS THAT OFFER THESE SERVICES?
